Say hello to Marietta, one of our incredible Product Designers! Forged in fire in Malta, Marietta has had a fascinating journey from studying tech and software to completing a degree in Graphic Design and Interactive Media, where she was able to let her creative personality shine.
She has a wealth of experience as a UX and UI Designer, both in-house and agencies, and has also completed a bootcamp in Product Design with Experience Haus. Her favourite part of any project is the conceptualisation stage, as she views it as a blank canvas where you can have fun and experiment.
In her spare time, Marietta loves to illustrate (uses a digital medium but with a traditional feel!), which is a big passion of hers. She has also helped to create the Malta Community of Illustrators where people can ask questions, get help, and gain insight. When she's not illustrating or designing, you can find her exercising (running, strength training, sea swimming, CrossFit… you name it!), soaking up the sun whilst gardening, or looking after fur babies on Rover.
What's your go-to snack?
I’m always coming up with creative combinations, but if I had to pick it would be peanut butter & jelly sandwiched between two digestive biscuits.
What’s your favourite meme?
The panda raging in an office and smashing a keyboard. If you know, you know.
If you could invent any technology, what would it be and why?
A 3D printing shopping experience. You see something on the internet that you like and then you can print it out straight away. No need to wait for delivery!
